Bladed junk mills

Bladed junk mills are dressed with high-quality tungsten carbide to ensure optimal performance in all applications. These milling tools are suitable for all types of general junk milling, as well as for removing packers, retainers, and squeeze tools. Bladed junk mills are available from 3 1/2 to 28 in, with fishing necks from 2 7/8 to 11 1/4 in.
Conebuster mills
For heavy milling, such as bit cones, slips, and pieces of downhole tools, conebuster mills have a concave cutting face with a thick cutting structure. This structure ensures efficient milling and long life. Conebuster mills are available from 3 1/2 to 17 1/2 in, with fishing necks from 3 1/8 to 9 1/2 in.

Taper mills

Taper mills are designed specifically for milling through tight spots in tubulars. Heavy crushed carbide dressing increases on-bottom time, and ground OD and stabilizer pads eliminate the risk of cutting through casing. Taper mills clean out liners, tubing, and other collapsed or deformed tubulars. They can also be run ahead of other milling tools to clean out “bird nests.”

Pilot mills

Pilot mills are suitable for milling sections of tubular junk and can be used as a dress mill for installing casing patches or milling liner hangers and other downhole tools with a throughbore. These milling tools are available from 3 1/4 to 17 in, with fishing necks from 3 1/8 to 8 in.
